The late Haj Cheraghali Alikhanzadeh, born in 1924, is regarded as the spiritual father of Alvan Paint Company. Many years before the official establishment of Alvan, he started a paint store, defining work and production as fundamental family values. By guiding his virtuous children and emphasizing their education, he paved the way for the creation of the Alvan Paint factory. Besides his business achievements, Haj Cheraghali was a skilled and artistic Master of Architecture in Khorasan. He played a significant role in the restoration, construction, and expansion of the holy shrine of the eighth Shia Imam in Mashhad. His deep commitment to religious duties and spiritual practices shaped him into a pious and perfectionist individual. He regarded work as a valuable form of worship and believed that a person’s character is formed through work and production. This positive philosophy, combined with constructive efforts, laid the foundation for establishing the Alvan Paint factory in December 1981. After the factory’s launch, maintaining continuous operation became crucial, as many factories have been established but failed to sustain. Strong faith, steadfastness on the right path, and dedication to work and production were the core lessons he passed to his children, the successors of his legacy. As a result, Alvan, after over three decades of operation, still thrives on his teachings and, guided by his light, looks toward a bright future. The extensive range of high-quality products and numerous honors attest to Alvan’s successful performance, growth, and sustainable development. Innovation, calculated risk-taking, purposeful modeling, utilization of advanced technologies, adherence to international standards, and deep market understanding in the paint, engineering materials, and industrial building products sector are among the key reasons for Alvan’s success. Today, Alvan is one of the largest producers of industrial and architectural paints in Iran, exporting its products worldwide. Nearly half a century after its first products, Alvan still honors the honesty, integrity, and tireless efforts of its spiritual father, the late Haj Cheraghali Alikhanzadeh. This great man passed away in June 2001, but his memory and path remain alive and continue to guide Alvan.
