Hamid Reza Banaei, was born in 1977 in Tehran, into a family rooted in hard work and dedication—his father was a construction professional, and his mother a passionate educator. From his earliest days at school, Hamid Reza was driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, balancing his studies with a budding passion for business. At just 14 years old, he boldly entered the world of commerce by purchasing his first shop in Tehran’s bustling bazaar, becoming one of the youngest licensed traders in the haberdashery sector. His keen interest in cosmetics, personal care, and fragrances quickly shaped the path he would follow. In 1995, he founded Prestige Qeshm, and within a year, the company had emerged as a leading name in Iran’s beauty and fragrance industry. Building on this momentum, he launched Mahtab Kish in 1997, which swiftly earned its own reputation for excellence. Never one to rest on his laurels, Hamid Reza continued to grow his business empire with the establishment of Mahan Qeshm in 2001. In just three years, this company became one of the top three importers of international perfume and cosmetic brands in Iran. A visionary at heart, in 2013 he took a major leap forward by founding Afra Ziba Manufacturing, marking his transition from importer to proud manufacturer with his own brands, “Arikeh” and “MQ”. All these achievements culminated in 2015 with the creation of Aria Chic Group—a powerhouse in the Iranian beauty sector. Today, Aria Chic proudly represents over 50 official international brand dealerships and supports more than 60 domestic production brands. With multiple affiliated companies, four state-of-the-art factories equipped with the latest European technologies, and a dedicated team of over 1,000 professionals, the group continues its mission to innovate, grow, and elevate Iran’s cosmetics and fragrance industries to new heights.
