Mohammad Sharifi

Haj Mohammad Sharifi, one of the key founders of a major jewelry packaging and decoration group in Tehran, was born in 1972 in the village of Jozah, near Naein, Isfahan Province, Iran. At the age of 14, he discovered his strong passion for working and creating, and began his career in a goldsmith’s workshop. During this time, he often wondered how the crafted gold pieces were transported and presented, which inspired him to develop the idea of designing special boxes and decorations for gold and jewelry products. After completing his military service in 1992, Mohammad Sharifi started working in the workshop of Master Rahbaran, where he gained extensive experience in jewelry packaging and decoration. Master Rahbaran was a highly entrepreneurial and skilled mentor who trained many talented apprentices. While always honoring his master, Mohammad Sharifi was determined to become the best student. In 1998, he opened his own workshop in southern Tehran. At that time, the industry was commonly known as tin box-making and frame decoration. Through years of traveling across the country and building strong connections with jewelry traders nationwide, Sharifi expanded his workshop and introduced significant innovations, transforming this artistic industry. He believes that time and place are minor obstacles on the path to achieving great goals. To further develop his work and gain fresh ideas, Haj Mohammad Sharifi traveled extensively abroad and learned English and French, which enabled him to successfully export his products to various countries. He often says: “We don’t concern ourselves with which industries our country follows or imports from; in our industry, Iran must be a leader.”
